Our tour begins at 10:00 a.m., with a 20-25 min. trip to Karaada (Black Island) right across the Bodrum harbor.
During this trip, first-time divers receive general information on diving while non-diving guests can just relax and enjoy the sunshine, the view and the blue sea.
When we reach our destination, candidates are divided into groups and each group is given a brief on the basics of diving by a certified scuba instructor. Information shared in this beginners level brief includes specifications and proper use of scuba gear/equipment, hand signals used for underwater communication, and safety requirements.
After the briefing, groups will take turns in putting on proper wet suits and other necessary gear – supplied by us – and experiencing their first dive under the supervision of the instructor. Standard duration for the first dive is 30 minutes.
Under the water, schools of colorful Aegean and Mediterranean fish greet divers with swaying tails and curious looks… Mediterranean morays hidden in coves, octopi camouflaged on rocks, seahorses rocking softly over sea anemones, sponges, and a wide variety of marine crustaceans all await their turn to be discovered by scuba divers...
This richness of the underwater life and the beauty of the marine animals will surely enchant not only novices but experienced divers as well. Endless discoveries in this deep blue silence where you can almost hear the bubbles will kindle the fire of passion in your hearts, and you will want to come back for more...
After the completion of first dives, lunch is served on board. After lunch, divers get a chance to rest and relax while moving to another beautiful dive site. There, divers again take turns in experiencing their second dives.
In the meantime, other guests can snorkel around to get their share of underwater beauties, or just bask in the sun...
Divers can view photographs and videos of their dives on computers and purchase CD recordings.
