The perfect mix of quaint, unassuming villages, atmospheric towns, reliable winds and breathtaking scenery makes the Corfu flotilla a 'must' for all sailors.
With a good mix of shorter and longer passages, light to moderate winds, and the lead crew on hand for constant support, the Corfu flotilla is suitable for a wide range of sailors. The new Corfu Flotilla combines great accessibility with a beautiful sailing area to make for a truly memorable holiday. Lazy fishing villages, reliable winds, breathtaking bays and fantastic local food all await you on this exciting flotilla.
Explore the beautiful Northern Ionian on our Corfu flotilla. Starting and finishing in Gouvia marina, the classic "South Route" takes a gentle and meandering route between mainland Greece and the famous Paxos island, visiting unspoilt villages, lively towns and world-famous bays. The more adventurous "North Route" offers more challenging sailing conditions exploring the lesser known northern bays and remote Erikousa island.
We embrace a relaxed flotilla atmosphere where you are free to plot your own course and arrival at each day's destination if you would like to. More experienced skippers enjoy this freedom whilst taking advantage of the social aspect of the flotilla. Less experienced skippers will appreciate the invaluable assistance of the lead crew, giving you the peace of mind to enjoy your holiday.

Learn to Sail on flotilla in Greece
With sheltered water and straight-forward navigation, the Ionian flotilla in Greece is ideal for beginners who wish to start sailing their own yacht on flotilla. We can offer an instructor on board your flotilla yacht for the week to build your confidence as skipper of your own flotilla yacht. This is ideal for couples and families who would like to join in a flotilla experience but need some instruction. On successful completion of the course you will be able to skipper a yacht within our flotilla under the guidance of our lead crew, practising your new sailing skills. This is not an RYA accredited course. If you would like to gain an RYA qualification then please see our RYA Courses.
These courses are great for families to learn to sail together but remember the instructor will not look after young children so one parent may only get to crew standard. This is also a good "refresher" course if you haven't skippered for a while. While parents refresh their skills, younger children can learn safety onboard and teenagers can become useful crew. You will have to allocate a cabin for the instructor.
Day 1 (Saturday) : Gouvia Marina, Corfu
You join your flotilla at Gouvia marina, just a 15-minute drive from Corfu airport. This modern marina is a great starting point for your holiday and after settling in on your yacht there’s time for a stroll around the shops and a relaxing dinner.
Day 2 (Sunday) : Petriti, Corfu (15nm)
Petriti is a fishing village located on the southeast coast of Corfu, Greece. The village is the largest fishing port on the island and the five tavernas on the sea front all specialise in seafood.
Day 3 (Monday) : Mongonisi, Paxos (22m)
Situated at the southernmost point of Paxos, Mongonisi is surrounded by clear blue sea with a small sandy beach offering safe bathing for all ages. The small port for yachts provides good shelter and free mooring with one taverna offering a popular “Greek night”.
Day 4 (Tuesday) : Lakka, Paxos (8nm)
Lakka is a true Ionian gem, a beautiful little village which often becomes our clients' favourite spot.
Day 5 (Wednesday) : Plataria, Mainland (17nm)
This quiet village remains widely unknown to tourists and is a perfect spot to enjoy dinner in a waterfront taverna whilst getting to know your fellow flotilla crews.
Day 6 (Thursday) : Corfu Old Town (22nm)
Enjoy a night in Corfu town, a Unesco World Heritage Centre known for its rich history. With beautiful Venetian architecture and the Old Fortress, the old town is a charming visit.
Day 7 (Friday) : Gouvia Marina (4nm)
Before returning to Gouvia Marina, take a lunch stop at the idyllic forested island of Vido. Used as a prison in ancient times, you will now find beautiful little bays with caves to explore and lots of trails on land to see the fort ruins.
Day 8 (Saturday) : Corfu
Disembark at Gouvia Marina and take your included transfer back to the airport.
Please Note: All routes may vary due to weather conditions & other factors.
